Adaptive NRM has developed remote sensing methods that deliver fast, highly accurate and detailed fire scar information. Hover over the map to see how much more detail we can provide (desktop only).

Past projects have involved creating high resolution fire histories going back to the mid-1980s. We analyse multiple images per year, making our data more reliable in terms of both spatial and temporal accuracy.

We supply fire scar data to clients so they can make better informed fire management decisions. ​We can provide data as images (rasters) or vectors (e.g. Shapefiles or KMZ files). We can also perform detailed analyses.
